The Mermaid

Looking for a nautical song to play on your ocarina? Use the exampe video and ocarina tabs to learn how to play the chorus to "The Mermaid." The tune has been around since the 18th century, but it's still a popular tune at renaissance fairs and pirate-themed events. It's also known as "The Stormy Winds" or "The Wrecked Ship." The chorus remains within a one octave range, which makes it really easy to play on a four to six hole ocarina.
